Harlem Renaissance Rebirth

Bring Harlem to the world. Bring the world to Harlem.

The Rebirth is designed as a cultural exchange network. Communities discover Harlem, Harlem discovers them, and the relationship creates opportunities for culture, education, tourism, media and local business.

GLOBAL OUTREACH

A network built for scale.

We are building the relationship infrastructure first, then growing it community by community and country by country.

AMERICA19,500

American communities

The long-term invitation is to every incorporated community in America. Fifty cities are the first network, not the destination.

THE WORLD160

Countries invited

Tourism boards, cultural institutions and destination partners are invited to build a relationship with Harlem and participate in the Rebirth.

EDUCATIONPAST · PRESENT · FUTURE

The Renaissance Classroom

We are developing educational resources that help universities and cultural institutions teach the original Harlem Renaissance, contemporary Harlem and the future of the Rebirth.

THE EXCHANGE

Every relationship works in two directions.

HARLEM → YOUR COMMUNITY

Bring Harlem to them.

Performances, stories, educational resources, artists, culinary culture, media and destination storytelling can travel beyond Harlem.

YOUR COMMUNITY → HARLEM

Bring them to Harlem.

Students, travelers, artists, chefs, designers, cultural organizations and visitors have a reason to experience Harlem in person.

MOOD MAP LICENSING

Give every destination a cultural map.

A participating tourism organization can eventually license a localized Mood Map to help visitors discover Black-owned businesses, cultural institutions, experiences, hospitality, food, history and community in its destination.
